The world’s leading trade fairs for the tube and pipe industry, Wire and Tube, have been officially cancelled this year. The events, which usually take place concurrently in Düsseldorf, had already been postponed from April to the end of this year. Stricter corona measures, including a ban on large-scale trade fairs, have now prevented this.
The increasing number of coronavirus infections has forced trade fair organiser, Messe Düsseldorf, to cancel plans for Wire and Tube 2020. The trade fairs would normally be held between 7-11 December. The conventional cycle dictates that we will now have to wait another two years for the Wire and Tube trade fairs that are planned for the spring of 2022.
